iRateU by Campus Advisor Mission
Our mission is to help students find the right course and university for them, using information and reviews provided by fellow students. We aim to provide students with a transparent view of UK courses & universities.
Current students are able to comment on and rate their own course and university, helping thousands of other students in the process. Prospective students are able to view student comments and ratings of courses they are interested in and to compare courses across different universities. Students are also able to connect and chat with each other and share university experiences.
Our course and university review data which is collected continuously throughout the year, in conjunction with official Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) student data supplied at the end of each academic year (presented alongside our ratings), helps students to make an informed decision about the right university and course for them.
All undergraduate and postgraduate students who enrol on our website have to verify their university accounts with us to ensure the review data we collect is accurate and trustworthy.
We give 30% of our revenues to support education in the UK and abroad by helping those from poor and underprivileged backgrounds gain an education. This is an important part of our mission in creating an open transparent review system which helps our students towards the right education path for them, whilst also giving back to the community.
