Teaching is really good, and they have some good facilities. Biology course is very interesting and you get to choose what you want to study a little bit, the lecturers are really helpful and they are approachable. I’ve had a good experience. Campus Advisor
Biochemistry is a pretty hard core degree and I might have been better choosing something more general like Biomedical Science at uni, but you can cater the course a little to your liking. I don’t love the practicals but I can see how they are useful. The course sets you up with good interpersonal skills even if you choose to do something different after, like what I may do. Im happy with the way things have gone in my degree, I’ve had lots of support when I’ve needed it on a personal front and academically it’s a very strong faculty, the only thing I think they need to work on is timetabling and feedback could be expanded. If you get involved in the student societies you will love your time at uni as you get to meet so many different people who are not just on your course. Campus Advisor
You get given loads of PBL cases in the first year and there is a lot of study you have to do on your own, so only pick this course if you like a fair amount of self-learning!! Manchester is a prestigious university though so you know you are being taught by very good teachers. Campus Advisor
