It’s been really good, the staff are really supportive and the lectures are good quality without being too boring. I love Sheffield as a city, it’s not too big and there are loads of societies. You’re also right next to the peaks if you fancy a day trip. Campus Advisor
Im happy with the way things have gone in my degree, I’ve had lots of support when I’ve needed it on a personal front and academically it’s a very strong faculty, the only thing I think they need to work on is timetabling and feedback could be expanded. If you get involved in the student societies you will love your time at uni as you get to meet so many different people who are not just on your course. Campus Advisor
Maths rocks!!!! Well you better like the subject if you're going to do a degree in it as its pretty hard core and a lot harder than what we covered in school and A-levels. Being at uni really helps as you get loads of independence and finally feel like an adult, Manchester is such a wicked city. - Anonymous -

No complaints really, they podcast most lectures throughout the uni which we all really love. They have some great buildings such as the Alan Gilbert where we can study and relax too. Course material is of v good quality as are the lecturers. - Anonymous -

Dont really rate the city but the course is good. - Anonymous -
Man met is really central so it’s right near the city centre so you’re never far away from shopping at lunch :) It’s better living in a house than the halls, some of the halls are really close by which helps. My course is taught well and I should get a good degree from here. - Anonymous -
My course is pretty good, there’s lots of support from lecturers. The societies and nightlife at this uni are just amazing. It’s such a social place I really like that about it. The city is really nice. -Anonymous -
This course was hard work and very intense, lecturers were a bit mixed. -Anonymous -
I really developed my communication and transferable skills at this post. You mature so quickly and a placement will teach you skills it's very hard to develop at uni. Claire W
